n.: Ugly ass nigga who dresses extravagantly or extra metro sexual in sync with texturizing his hair or keeping it well kept to make up for his otherwise ugly, eyesore looks.
Ex.: Ginuwine gave birth to a generation of ugly pretty boys in '99 and inextricably changed the landscape of black men from the pinnacle of his career up to the present.
Bonus: Prominent Ugly Pretty Boy Ne-Yo (then known by Go-Go) goes on the show Showtime of the Apollo with his merry band of UPB's (including Cory Clark of American Idol fame & band member who I'm almost sure was a stand-in for Bernie Mac in Player's Club) and continue to butcher a classic song and proceed to get booed mercilessly.
